Looking for some locations on the gulf coast for a trip and I stumbled on this. Lots of military garbage. Tanks. Planes. Looks like some WWII era stuff as well.

if you go to the AFB to the east check out the two runways that intersect at the eastern edge, if you go south a bit there is a fighter jet parked facing a plane with forward swept wings

I think that’s a Rutan Long-EZ. Dick Rutan design, home built like a Caterham 7. Cool little plane.
